Heliskid is a high-performance skid unit engineered for heli-transport to the most inaccessible areas. Built to enhance aerial and ground operations, it carries a 792-gallon collapsible tank and a 23 HP engine with a 4-stage pump, delivering up to 418 psi (28.8 bar) of pressure and a maximum flow of 105 gpm (397 l/min).
Heliskid is designed to be rapidly deployed by helicopter, filled on-site, and pressure-feed water through hoses to suppress flames where trucks can’t reach. It’s not just equipment — it’s a force multiplier in wildland firefighting.

The Heliskid can be helitransported to remote areas where pick up trucks can’t go so a tank can be located in a strategic point for extinguishing work. The purpose is to quickly deploy the structure/deposit wherever needed to be filled with water from a helicopter in inaccessible areas and pressure-feed the water from the tank through the fire pump and hoses.

1. Foldable canvas tank of 3,000 l (792 gal).
2. 4 lifting points.
3. 4 stages motorpump with a 13HP, 18HP, 21HP or 23HP engine.
4. Reinforced aluminum main structure.
5. Fuel tank 12 l (3 gal).
6. Telescopic structure.

Means of transportation
Compact for transport with any pick up model. Also is possible to carry 2 heliskid more by tow.
Unloading
4 telescopic legs must to be assembled to adapt skid unit to the ground, get the vehicle free and be ready to load water.

Heliskid aerial transport from the vehicle unloading position to the remote area where the fire is to be attacked.

Canvas tank must be deployed to let helicopters fill it by water discharge.

Dimensions are adjusted for adaptation to most pickups such as the double-cab Nissan Navara. It occupies all of the back of the vehicle for more volume capacity as a water tank.
