The Helicopter Association of Canada (HAC) holds its Annual Conference & Trade Show, HAC 2026, on November 3 to 5, 2026, at the Victoria Conference Centre in Victoria, British Columbia.
About HAC 2026: HAC Horizons
This year's edition is called HAC Horizons and marks an evolved direction for the HAC Annual Conference & Tradeshow. It is built around strategic dialogue, regulatory engagement, operational excellence and workforce sustainability, with a focus on the challenges and priorities shaping the helicopter industry.
The conference gathers owners, executives, senior managers and key decision-makers of the helicopter industry from across Canada and internationally, and it includes a trade show where operators and suppliers meet face to face.
VFT North America will be in Victoria
VFT North America will be at HAC 2026, Booth 38, and we are going with the Water Hog as our main product, the aerial firefighting bucket built to give the pilot control on every drop. If you are attending, stop by and see it up close. We would be glad to talk with you about what your missions demand from a bucket.
Water Hog: maximum precision and performance in every bucket drop
The Water Hog is an advanced helicopter bucket for modern aerial firefighting, trusted in over 25 wildfire seasons and built for helicopters from light to heavy-lift. What sets it apart:
- Multi drop system. Patented, with unlimited drops per load.
- Electro-hydraulic valve. An exclusive 24VDC actuator for precise valve control.
- Rapid Deployment System. Ready for deployment in just 30 to 60 seconds.
- Robust construction. A reinforced polyurethane shell and fiberglass base for all fire environments, from initial attack to mop-up and urban interface defense.
Program details and attendee registration are available on the official Helicopter Association of Canada (HAC) website. We look forward to seeing you in Victoria!
